Rugby Australia Enters PTP Deal

July 3, 2020 by

Rugby Australia and PTP have announced a new partnership. The governing body and Australian owned and operated fitness accessory and education brand are teaming up. They are joining forces to support the Qantas Wallabies, Buildcorp Wallaroos, Junior Wallabies, and the Qantas Australia Men’s and Women’s Sevens teams.

Part of the new agreement sees PTP providing the RA High-Performance programme with their products. These cover core, mobility, recovery, and strength and will hopefully boost Australia’s success on the international sports scene. Peter Sciberras, RA’s General Manager of Commercial Partnerships, described the contract as priceless.

Sciberras said that PTP’s assistance will prove incredibly valuable to the High-Performance team thanks to helping ensure they achieve and maintain peak physical fitness levels. He added that this is even more important as preparations are being made for a return to play after the recent shutdown necessitated by the novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. He stated that, above and beyond the support for high-performance, RA is looking forward to promoting the PTP brand to the Rugby community via their events and digital channels.

Chris O’Sullivan, Head of Sales and Marketing at the fitness brand, declared his enthusiasm about the new deal as well. He said that he’s proud that PTP is going to be able to add Rugby Australia to its prestigious list of partners. This group currently consists of the Australian Boomers, Diamonds, and Opals, as well as Baseball and Softball Australia. He said that helping top athletes perform at their best is a great honour.
