The European based daily fantasy sports operator Oulala is spreading its wings and heading down under. In a recent white-label deal, the DFS operator joined forces with Cardinal House Group to launch its real money platform into India and Australasia. The Cardinal House Group is one of Australia’s leading B2B and B2C providers of real money gambling platforms and social gaming products.

Lead by Graham Martin, the chairman of the Cardinal House Group and former member of the Oulala’s board of directors, the expansion was said to be the direct result of Oulala proving itself to be a ground-breaking DFS operator across the European market. The fully licenced monetised platform was set to be launched in time for the 2016 English Premiership football season in India, Australia and neighbouring countries.

The platform includes a fully operational player management program, a sports book platform, as well as an online and land based affiliate management program. Oulala differentiates itself from other DFS operators by offering more variables from the get go.

Skills Based DFS Platform

When selecting their team, the Oulala DFS platform offers players over 70 different criteria to analyse before making a final team decision to their fantasy line-up. This is compared to industry standard of between 5 and 16 which is significantly less, giving Oulala the upper hand in this respect.

Oulala also offers a dynamic live coaching feature. This allows players to make instant real-time changes to their fantasy team at any time. The combination of the two DFS features could also substantially increase the skill element and reduce the role of luck in fantasy sports.

Expansion into the Italian Market

The Malta based company is already licenced by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission and its expansion into Australasia is just the beginning. Oulala also have plans to expand into the Italian market with a recent announcement of a deal with Gaming Interactive Group (GIG). Founded in 2014, GIG provides a modular gaming platform already approved for the Italian Market. This gives Oulala the perfect springboard to expand into Italy and Europe providing sports enthusiasts with a comprehensive DFS platform. But for the interim, Australian punters are the ones who will be reaping the benefits of the daily fantasy sports operator’s offerings.
